Since I was a little girl I have always been fascinated by foreign languages. The fact that I love travelling contributed a lot. Today it is almost impossible to travel without knowing at least Englishwhich is consider as a most common world language. Currently children have many possibilities for studying languages. Actually the child can start already in the nursery school. When I was a child we did not have such as great opportunities. It is highly recommended to start with studying languages as soon as possible. It is a pity that the quality of teaching in many countries is not very high. You study foreign language but actually you do not know how to use it because you do not practise. However there are many opportunities where you can practise your language skills. For example you can go for Erasmus (if you are student at university) to some European countries or during the summer you can work abroad like babysitter or in hotel or you can practise language just when you go for a holiday.
Before visiting another country you make a good decision if you buy some guidebook. The thing is that there are important information such as which monuments you have to see, where you should try the best local food or in which bar you will go tonight. Apart from this usually at the beginning or at the end of the book you will find a small vocabulary. This vocabulary consists of basic phrases like: Hello, how are you? Can I get a coffee, please? Etc. Trust me, if you learnt at least these basics before you go for a holiday, people around you will love you. They will be happy, smile on you all the time, try to make some jokes, recommend you something. People in the destination of your holiday are happy because you showed them that you are really interested in their language, culture etc. I can confirm this fact from my experiences. Also you can find some local friends which is good, right?

Everybody knows that when you have some knowledge of foreignlanguage it is a good point in your CV (curriculum vitae). Currently it is almost necessary to have some. The most common foreign languagesare: English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese…

It can help you a lot with finding the job of your dreams. So, let’s go to study.
