1Global Translators started as a company specialized in accurate legal, financial and business translations for law firms, legal consultancies, audits, banks, insurance companies and legal and financial departments. Nowadays, most of the translations made by us are for this sector, but at the same time we have developed other areas of specialization in order to satisfy our clients’ needs.

1Global has made up a group of Law graduates and experts in this field who has endeavoured to train and supervise a larger group of legal translators.

1. QUALITY AND LEGAL SPECIALIZATION

It is a sector in which the use of legal terms and expressions common to the type of documents is very important, that the whole document is translated without exception and that the meaning of the original text is reflected in the translation, turning words into ideas and ideas into words. Many times the translated version of a contract has as much legal value as the original version, and therefore it is fundamental that it be impeccable. Creation of legal glossaries applicable to all of our translations in this speciality. Additionally, we create specific corporate legal glossaries for clients with particular tastes.

Apart from all that, for translations that require very specific terminology or style, we prepare a legal glossary for each particular translation and a partial draft of the translation which are sent to the client before the delivery of the final version takes place, so that he may tell us whether he agrees with the terminology used.

This is achieved thanks to having a team of more than 100 legal native professional translators, both internally and externally, and to our Project Management System.

3. PUNCTUALITY

Professionals who work in legal operations are frequently subject to tight deadlines. Many times the date and time for closing the transaction in the notary office or else the courts, tribunals and other institutions set a deadline in order to file certain documents and what is not filed within that period of time can no longer be filed. Therefore, in addition to having experience in legal translation, it is necessary to have good knowledge of other fields terminology, such as Mechanics, Finance, Electrical, Engineering, Chemicals, Pharmaceutics, Information Technology or Telecommunications. The fact of having specialised translators in various fields allows us to perform a wide variety of projects, including projects in which within a text there is terminology corresponding to various fields of knowledge.

6. CONFIDENTIALITY

The documents to be translated often contain delicate information and it is essential to keep it strictly within the circle of legal translators and other professionals working in these documents. For this reason, all the professionals who work for 1Global Translators sign a Confidentiality Agreement. If the client wishes, we can in turn also sign a Confidentiality Agreement with him.
